3 arrested at Airport with fake passports

Immigration police Tuesday arrested three Bangladesh nationals at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport after their passports were found to be fake. Officials said the three were detained and subjected to intense questioning. The two were identified as Jahid and Ahammed . Two disclosed that they were trying to sneak into Dubai with fake passports, forged by local agents namely Sujon & Ali. A case was registered against them at the police station after they were handed over to police.

\r\nIn another incident, immigration police arrested Shahadat when he appeared to arrival counter and found with counterfeit travel documents. The sources said he acquired fake passports and other travel documents from a Saudia travels staff name Julfikar at the cost of taka 130,000.00. With the help of these documents he had traveled to Sudan. On his arrival here Tuesday immigration police arrested and handed him over to airport police. A case was later filed against him. Shahadata??s passport contained Mr Nazima??s name and address but with his photograph.
